This is a stunning Antique Anglo Indian Teak Settle / Bench beautifully hand carved in the Chinese Style. Dates to c1900.
The carving is incredibly detailed with dragons and Chinese symbols and superb quality.
The seat is hinged and lifts up to reveal a large and useful storage box.
Bears a label for Jabbar Khan Kasmir who were renowned furniture makers and carvers in the late 19th / early 20th century and well known for making Campaign Furniture.
This is a very rare piece and in remarkable condition. Would look stunning in any home.
